I was in Conwy photographing Clare and Darren Vernon’s wedding at the weekend.

They got married in the Tabernacle chapel, which is just off the square in and opposite the police station.

Canon 24-70mm 2.8 better choice than Sigma 17-70mm

My new Canon 24-70mm 2.8 lens arrived today and I admit I got quite a thrill opening the box.

I’d had a go on the Sigma 17-70mm, which I bought because a friend took stunning photos at my wedding with it.

Well, ok, perhaps I’m exaggerating slightly, but it is bloody hard work.

I’ve chosen to build this site myself because (a) it’s cheaper (b) like most good photographers, I’m a control freak.
